| Project Scope:
The Little Snake River
Conservation District retained Pedersen Planning Consultants to
prepare a socio-economic assessment that will ultimately
represent a portion of an overall watershed management plan for
the District. The assessment examined various social and
economic indicators for the communities of Baggs and Dixon, as
well as surrounding unincorporated areas within the LSRCD.
Economic activities occurring in agriculture, oil and gas,
tourism, and retail trade were also evaluated to enable the
forecast of anticipated employment and business expansion trends
within the primary economic sectors of the LSRCD |
